Relocation gets Aussie remake

Australia’s XYZnetworks has commissioned Shine Australia to produce a local version of property show Relocation Relocation.

The original UK programme, produced by RDF subsidiary IWC Media, is already a ratings winner for XYZnetworks’ The LifeStyle Channel. The Aussie version is heading for the same destination next year.

Shine Australia will make Relocation Relocation Australia following a deal with RDF Rights, which also distributes the UK show. Production on a 10×60′ first run is getting underway.

“Along with Grand Designs and Selling Houses, we now have all of the big-hitting property formats and are thrilled to be bringing our audience the Australian series,” said LifeStyle Channel’s general manager, Nicole Sheffield.
